Powering Innovation at Dash Bash 2025

We’re thrilled to welcome Red Hat as one of our incredible sponsors for the Bash.

If you’re familiar with open source technology, chances are you already know the name. Red Hat is a global leader in enterprise open source solutions, including Linux, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, automation, and edge computing. Trusted by more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies, Red Hat helps organizations across the world build and scale flexible, reliable tech infrastructure. But beyond the code, Red Hat stands out for something else: a deep belief in the power of collaboration, creativity, and community—values that sit right at the heart of Dash Bash.

So why is a tech company like Red Hat sponsoring a conference for animators, motion designers, and digital storytellers?

Because Red Hat knows that the future of innovation lives at the intersection of art and technology. From crafting engaging user experiences to telling compelling brand stories through motion and design, creativity is a vital force in how people connect with technology—and how technology evolves to meet human needs.

In fact, Red Hat has a long-standing commitment to open creative collaboration. Their Open Studio creative team is known for producing stunning visual storytelling, including their award-winning animated series, “Open Source Stories,” which highlights how open source principles extend beyond software into fields like education, agriculture, and even filmmaking. It’s this spirit of sharing, iterating, and pushing boundaries that makes Red Hat such a natural fit for Dash Bash.

We’re honored to have them on board for this year’s event, and we can’t wait for attendees to experience the synergy between open source thinking and open-hearted creativity.

Red Hat is also one of dash’s longest running client’s and huge supporters of the Raleigh creative scene. When we Dash Studio back in 2015, Red Hat was one of the first businesses to hire and support dash. We’re thankful to them for all they support they have given us and the Raleigh community over the years.

Make sure to say “thanks” if you meet a Red Hatter at the Bash - it couldn’t happen without them.
